2024 Bright Angel “Wildwood White” Bordeaux Blanc, Wildwood Vineyards Sonoma Valley
Sémillon dominates this dynamic blend with plenty of fresh apricot, peach, and pear up front. While the sauvignon blanc displays tasty tones of lemon curd, lime, and tangerine upon the crisp finish, there is a lovely tropical melange of kiwi, mango, and pineapple upon the mid palate. All this fruit is stitched together via notes of just-cut basil, white tea, flecks of ginger, a dash of green bean, and whiffs of gooseberry. All in all, this is an elegant and refreshing New World take on classic Bordeaux Blanc.
